[projekt.] development

Formed in March 2017, we are a small team of developers based in Philadelphia, PA. Our developers and team members are dedicated to developing Android applications that seek and conquer out-of-the-box ideas. Working closely with XDA Developers and many community-oriented companies, our small start-up has over 1M monthly active users amongst all applications and platforms!

Independent development - more than just a hobby

Initially developed as a successor to the former product, Layers Manager, the new Substratum Theme Engine (available on Play Store) has been widely used amongst Android enthusiasts running Android 6.0 to Android 8.0.

Mainly geared towards customizing system themes through Sony's Overlay Manager Service, as well as the deprecated system - Runtime Resource Overlay.

Past Experiences

Having worked for another company in the past, namely Sony Mobile, most of what I have been doing in Android stemmed from my previous experience.

Not only was I part of Sony's core overlay testing team (as well as theming engine) back in Android 4.4 (KitKat), I also started a community of themers called chummy development team back in 2014, of which created themes and stepped beyond boundaries of what Android allowed you to normally touch through overlays. I also created app add-ons that hot-swapped resources on-the-fly!
